USAREUR Fall FY15 EFMB
The 212th Combat Support Hospital, 30th Medical Brigade, will host this year's fourth quarter U.S. Army Europe Expert Field Medical Badge competition, taking place in August 2015 at the Grafenwoehr Training Area in Germany. More than 180 candidates from U.S. forces in Europe including 35 multinational participants from United Kingdom and Germany are competing in the five-day challenge.
The test is a rigorous evaluation of mental and physical skills and earning the badge requires a high degree of ability and focus. Passing rates range from 5-25 percent, making the EFMB a distinctive mark in a Soldier's records. The EFMB also provides multinational and U.S. service members the opportunity to train together and to gain a greater understanding of their abilities while building more competent and confident Soldiers. |
Come have dinner with your candidate. All Command Teams that would like to eat dinner with their Soldier still in contention for the EFMB are welcome. Eat, mentor, motivate, and commend your soldier for working this hard and making it this far in the competition. Space is limited. For more information, please call the EFMB TOC or CPT Daniel Boone at 01629324417.
The EFMB testing begins on August 29, 2015 and concludes on September 3, 2015. EFMB graduation will tentatively begin at 0900 on September 3, 2015. The ruck march will take place that early that morning. If any member of the EFMB candidate's command would like to support their Soldier during this event, please call the EFMB TOC for details. It is permissive to join, pace, encourage and support your candidate during the ruck. Each candidate is allowed one person to join them on the march.
